Codling Moth Team Objectives

  • Finalization of working documents and path forward by task-splitting
  • Educational, collection and sharing of knowledge
  • Continue the WG visibility effort via new initiatives (eg mailing list, symposia)
  • Design and support new collaborative CM resistance studies aimed at valuing unambiguous detection and validation (e.g. biochemical + suitable bioassay with “multiple” critical concentrations)

Team Leader: Andrea Bassi, Dupont

Although IRAC has maintained a codling moth workgroup for a number of years, it was reformed in 2007. The workgroup is responsible for a reassessment of the current resistance situation and the active ingredients available, and is charged with developing IRAC monitoring methods and IRM strategies for this pest.
