The latest issue of the IRAC MoA Classification has now been released and posted on the MoA Team page of the website (MoA Classification Scheme v7.1). Changes include the addition of some new actives and the re-classification of a couple of existing actives. A second edition of the small IRAC MoA booklet is in the process of being printed and this will be based on the latest version of the classification.

IRAC publishes 3 new IRM vector posters
Monday, November 8th, 2010Two new posters from the IRAC Public Health Team and a further poster from the IRAC MoA Team all relate to different aspects of resistance management in mosquitoes as vectors of malaria. Topics covered by the posters include a general overview of the importance of insect resistance management, the increasing importance of biomolecular techniques for resistance monitoring and the importance of MoA in IRM strategies. New “mini” IRAC Classification brochure now available
Tuesday, May 18th, 2010IRAC International has just designed and printed a new pocket-sized guide to MOA classification. It includes an introduction to the importance of MOA for resistance management, a list of MOA groups in numerical order with corresponding active ingredients, pest specific lists of MOA by target site and an alphabetical list of active ingredients along with their MOA classification number. Copies are available from IRAC members and via the website or can be downloaded by clicking IRAC MOA Brochure
MOA Classification Poster now available in Spanish, Chinese and Portuguese
Tuesday, May 18th, 2010The popular poster showing MOA classification by group and chemical structure has now been translated into Spanish, Chinese and Portuguese.
